Born in Richmond, VA Gritty Grime grew up in church very spiritual, and knowledge seeking, about all facets of life. Even during his street phase, his morals, principles and ambition to find another way separated him from the rest. His rap influences are Outkast, Nas, Tupac, Biggie, Wu Tang Clan, Snoop Dog, DMX, Scarface, Kanye West, Tribe Called Quest, Lupe Fiasco, Black Thought, and Mos Def among others.

Sonny Kolfax, along with Akai Phifer make up the modern day Gangstarr known as Cult Classic.  Before focusing on music Sonny cut his teeth on the local battle rap circuit making it as far as URL before he lost interest in the genre.

Artist

Based out of Richmond, VA, rapper Slumdogg has been honing his craft from the age of 16. With heavy influences from the late 80’s and early 90’s hip-hop culture, and more recent influences from the likes of Lupe Fiasco, Kendrick Lamar, and J Cole Slumdogg has a unique ear for music and prides himself on lyricism. His music offers a raw, unfiltered, and one of a kind view on various life experiences.
